I think that you should come up with a good story first. Gameplay is good, but the lack of levels and a more complex story is keeping the game in the shadows.
Yea picture frame 2 has much more levels then number 1, but still relies on the user liking the story but I have added a bit of complexity into it

Make an actual game with actual interesting gameplay, the story should be entirely secondary, and don't make up sorry excuses when you get criticized and actually listen to what people have to say.
